Unusual Bird: Female House Finch with Growth on Bill

Female house finch seen in backyard on March 13, 2014 with a growth or tumor on its bill. The growth appeared rounded and brownish-gray, though from the right it appeared to have some red. The bird appeared to be moving and feeding normally. I have not seen this bird again.
