Unusual Bird: Leucistic chickadee
Luke has a partially leucistic plumage, with a white spot on the top of his head and many white or light gray splotches across the shoulders and back. He is likely a chestnut-backed chickadee based on shape, but lives in a flock with both black-capped and chestnut-backed chickadees, so it is difficult to discern which he is.

Hello. I’ve had a leucistic chickadee visiting my feeder for several days with several other chickadees. It’s lighter than this one pictured and has a pink beak and pink feet. Let me know if you’d like me to send a photo. I live in Lowman, NY
