Unusual Bird: Leucistic Female House Sparrow

A partially leucistic female house sparrow has been seen for 3 FeederWatch Seasons at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ. She is at least 3 years old unless she was born in the summer of 2014. Two photos are included here – one of her from Dec. 2014 at the feeder outside Gannon Hall, and another on the ground near the same feeder taken in Nov. 2016.
