Unusual Bird: Male Northern Flicker red-shafted x yellow shafted

We can have both Yellow-shafted and Red-shafted Northern Flickers here in the summer time. This winter we have two males, each with a different plumage. This one shows traits of both while the other male (not shown) shows the colouring of the red-shafted morph.
