Unusual Bird: Steller’s Jay with crossed bills
Photo taken December 18, 2020 in Lake Oswego, Oregon while doing my Project Feeder Watch count. Upon close inspection of photo on my computer I noticed that this Steller’s Jay’s bills were slightly crossed at the tips, indicating that it has Avian Keratin Disorder.

I have a Stellers Jay that has really crossed beak coming to my feeder. One out of about 6 that visit daily.
I also have a Steller’s that I’ve known for a few years. She has a crossed beak.
