Unusual Bird: Tail-less Sooty Fox Sparrow

This bird visits the feeder daily. It does not seem to be injured, i.e. it does not appear to have lost its tail feathers in a battle with a cat. It’s balance seems somewhat hindered when alighting on a perch on a tube feeder. Flight does not seem impaired.
