I took the photo shortly before I participated in Project feeder watch.
Woodpeckers & Sapsuckers
the Red Belly Woodpecker was feeding on raw peanuts. The day was cold with a light smattering of snow. He stayed for quite a while till he was satisfied with feeding and left the feeder shortly thereafter.
