After a lively session in the nearby birdbath, this male goldfinch perched on a feeder hook to preen and dry off. He looked at me as if to say, “Excuse me, could I have a little privacy, please!” His feathers look so bedraggled in this shot, but he was preened, plump, and pretty in no time at all!
