Description

This is the first year that I’ve noticed Lesser Goldfinches; they showed up in late autumn. All summer long, there were many American Goldfinches, but they show up only occasionally now. There is one female American Goldfinch that hangs around with this flock of Lessers, though she often eats by herself at the tube feeder while the Lessers are on the sock. Sometimes the Lessers leave and she stays to eat.
