Description

Several days ago, I was delighted to observe several Northern Parulas
at close range feeding in this apple tree along a small lake in Madison
County KY. That little patch of yellow on it’s chest is as bright and warm
as the Spring sun. There were also a number of ‘full breeding dressed’
Yellowthroated, Yellow-Rumped and a shy Black & White Warbler in the
same area. Once again, I am always amazed at how close
you can approach some birds/critters from a boat without distracting
and/or spooking them. So good to have these little bundles of color
and spunky attitude back!
