An infrequent Tennessee snow dropped a couple inches here on the last day of November. It brought this group of Blue Jays who have come to expect some cracked corn in my yard. I spread cracked corn in the far corner of the yard because it tends to keep the Jays from acting like gluttons at my feeders…they seem to prefer cracked corn, plus it is cheap. I think of this group as one family because six or seven of them always show up together.
