I heard the call of a Pileated Woodpecker and looked out my kitchen window. I was so surprised to see him on the ground pecking bat this dead tree. I was able to sneak outside and creep around the cabin to capture him working at this tree.

This Pileated Woodpecker was pecking away on this dead tree in our yard. I heard him from inside and snuck outside to capture this photo!
