Snow Geese with the Rocky Mountain Eastern Front in the background. This is Freezeout Lake in Montana the primary snow goose staging area in Montana. There can be up to 300,000 geese here at once. There were only about 12,000 when we were there. When they take off, a snow goose flurry, they are solid geese and bock out everything else.
