May 13 and 14, 2014 – perfect weather, a heavy movement of migrants, and crabapple trees loaded with little green worms made for the best birding ever! In addition to the 10 species of warblers, other eye-catchers were Baltimore Orioles, Scarlet Tanager, Indigo Bunting and Red-eyed Vireo. The activity was almost dizzying – I never expected this in my own backyard!
