Description

I rescued a baby hummingbird that had tried to leave the nest too early. I broke off a limb with a nest from last year and taped the piece of limb to a small bowl. Left it just where the baby had fallen and soon the mother came to care for him. We later transfered the dish to the enterance of a box when threatened with rain. The mother continued with care until Jr was big enough and able to fly.
