This picture was taken from about 10 feet away. The hummingbird was coming up to the window to drink from our hummingbird feeder that attaches to the window.
Week 2: Hummingbirds
Nicely balanced image with a fast camera, though not fast enough to create a freeze frame. I like the light fuzziness of the wings, which capture the rapidity of their motion – quite impressive imposed against the stasis of the bird itself.
