Description

This sharp-shinned hawk has claimed my backyard as its’ territory. Since he remains stationary for hours at a time, perched in my tree, on a tree stump, or even on a swing set, The other birds pay the hawk little attention as they move to and fro to the feeders. In fact, the hawk pays little attention to me as I create my images. My backyard is a habitat for the hunter and the hunted.
