Description

On our porch we kept (moved in July) a variety of bird feeders and we had a pair of White-breasted Nuthatches that would visit off and on during the day. They always picked through seeds, throwing unwanted seeds on the ground, until they found a sunflower seed, then they would fly away and come back and look for another sunflower seed. It was fun to watch and they would tolerate us sitting on the porch, unlike almost every other bird in the neighborhood.
