I was very fortunate to have a cardinal family visit my feeder in the walnut tree. This little guy just happened to be in this pose when I snapped the picture. Also I would like to mention that this was taken on September 27, 2014 which is quite late in the year for babies. I think the cardinals had a very good year in my area. Maybe this was brood #2 or maybe even #3.
