Description

I stopped along the Shenandoah River early one morning on my way home from work to see what birds were out and about, and I saw two Red-bellied Woodpeckers chasing each other around the Sycamore Trees. I wasn’t able to get a good shot of both together, but one was nice enough to pose under the pretty yellow leaves of one of the trees (the other woodpecker is blurred in the background).
