One of the most vibrant birds of the sky, I have been feeding them now for several years daily and they love the sunflower seed…and for a real treat the unshelled peanut…what a site to see in the cold Winter months..this photo was taken in my backyard during the warmer climate…and they come to feed early in the a.m. and they are the last bird to feed before dusk…I shoot right through my Kitchen window…:)
