“To Truly Know The Cardinal’s Hue…”

Solstice Reverie To truly know the cardinal’s hue, One must see it against the snow When the colors of autumn are done And winter winds begin to blow. To truly know the summer sun, One must feel the bite Of frost in the shadow of the longest night When dreams renew – For it is darkness that allows the stars to glow. By Dan Barski - December 2014
