Description

Our ever present winter Juncos add life to our winter feeders. Hardy little fellows, that the snow does not seem to phase them.

Beck Abraham says:

Nesting pair in summer, at feeder in winter. Must be 6-8 commonly at winter feeder.

Fred Barth says:

Our backyard feeder attracts many small birds, including Juncos.
Most are the common variety. However, one recently appeared
and although gray & white, this one was mottled- patches of white
on an otherwise gray body.
I suspect this is just an aberration, similar to Albino Squirrels.
