I do have starlings that come to my suet feeders and they do annoy me. I love them in the fall watching them doing a murmuration over the fields. I really don’t want them eating my home made suet! They dislodge everyone from the suet, including the Hairy Woodpecker. For some reason, yesterday in the sun, I admired the colouration bouncing around in the light. I got a few photos and today I see the Bird Spotter Contest. No question for me it’s the European Starling that glows and looks slick.
