Description

My parents hung a bird feeder among the branches of a rhododendron bush next to a downstairs window of their house – essentially creating an ideal bird photography blind. The birds go into the rhododendron branches to eat from the bird feeder while I take photos from a few feet away inside. Titmice, chickadees, song sparrows, and mourning doves all came to eat (and be photographed) but the cardinals always make for some of the best photos among the branches and leaves.
