I had just returned from vacation and the feeders were empty. This downy woodpecker was looking around so hopefully that I grabbed a “seed character” and put it into the cylinder feeder. It was just a bit too large to slide down and I didn’t have time to adjust it, so I left it halfway in. The woodpecker didn’t seem to care.
