This Western Tanager showed up 6 days ago and is still here. I believe that he is the same bird that spent the winter with us last year. Last year he arrived on January 6 with a bad ice storm. He stayed until mid April and left at the same time as the Yellow-rumped Warblers. Last year he seemed to hang out with the Warblers.
