iT IS SO UNFORTUNATE, THAT NONE OF OUR INPUT IS ACTUALLY LINKED TO REAL DOCUMENTATION, WHAT WE SUPPLY.. IS SIMPLY KEPT,,
NO ACTUAL DOCUMENTATION. WILL EVER BE SHARED WITH ..US,, HOW UNFORTUNATE..
sEARCH.. IS SIMPLY THUS OUR TASK.. OR. REMAINS.. SEALED..unless ..
YEARS. HAVE TAUGHT ME A GREAT no
What ever you observe.. enjoy it.. share it,,

footnote..a Cooper`s hawk look confronts you..

a sharp-shinned has a more defiance despondency look..
This is not in any way.. a description.. and Is simply an observation..

such is my observation

My American crow, is perhaps mentioned often, but, facts remain.. Cornelius was found 11 years ago. next to another crow, which I, assume was his,, mother or father.
For the last 11 years now, Cornelius. visits, late in October, and stays in the exact same spot.. where he was fed,, years ago..
In the winter months.. he is fed, and only when he. reaches the said, branches, and then
his call, he signals.. Cornelius, has had about 2 breeding seasons.. and has had..
different. mates..first year.. 2, and then last year 3.. none of which I, can refer to him..
And only this year.. he has really noticed me..

I. love the fact that John Marzluff.. loves American Crows.. and that Bird Brains.. will one day.. give me..
Very shy, and he must learn that I, have to displace his food.. he is leaving the food to the starlings.. and stays long hours.. overlooking..
and will not decend and feed..food is consumed by starlings..
will see what happens.. when I, cannot reach the feeding table far in the yard..
Cornelius,, will have to learn to come close to the house.. will he do this.. that is a question..I
However.. he is a Watch tower.. in this yard.. and is complacent.. I, am not an early bird. and only feed him.. at 9 am.. he is an early riser..

Very informative story, Cornelius is making sure that it totally safe for him to partake in the feast in your yard.

Thank you,, because Cornelius, probably represents. the whole of my worthwhile Bird watching.. more than anything.. His first flight, was a Victory..years ago. and I, hence can only say.. that if , I, write today,, it is because of his wanting to fly..and his Earnest survial..
free, as he will always be..
I, read all about crows. thanks to j. Marzluff..
But, Cornelius,, taught me the rest of this story.. in his habits, is a tell-tale perching habit,
and most of all..his observations of Me.. his perception of my attention, timing, reactions..
He, does not always eat,, when food is available.. but, signals.. that .. by pecking on the branches..to other crows.. and heads for the roof.. of my house.. Something, now, I, cannot understand,, and only later on.. picks up the morsels..last but not the least..

Down here, crows are very cautious because some people shoot at them. t takes a while for them to get up the confidence to partake in the in the backyard festivities, they are very intelligent in making sure they’re going to be safe.
