Description

This capture was gotten at a wildlife management area in Madison County KY on a recent afternoon
hike I decided to make. It was the only picture I got this day, I observed several bluebirds, cedar
waxwings and robins just kind of hanging out in the particular clearing so I decided to take a break myself. No sooner that I sat down, this bluebird popped into the center of this ring of berries about 50 feet away, posed and then left. None of the other birds came in close enough for a good/clean capture. Looking at this picture I think of it having a ‘Christmas wreath’ feel to it and I can also hear Johnny Cash’s song, ‘Ring of Fire’ playing.
