I have no idea what this Yellow-throated Warbler was doing so far north at this time of the year, but I was extremely lucky to be looking at this feeder on March 24, 2014, AND had a camera handy, when this bird made its brief appearance. I’ve only had a Yellow-throat stop by twice before, and just for quick visits like this one, so it was a treat to see it, and a thrill to be able to get a couple photos of one.

Hi Bob……….A Yellow-throated Warbler arrived in Southwestern Pennsylvania on April 15, the temperature was 31*F. with light snow. I think that is too early also.
