More than twenty startlings crowded the trees on the edge of my property and, as usual, they were accompanied by robins, probably five. The starlings mobbed the suet feeder hanging from my deck so I took it indoors for a few hours. Awhile after I returned it to its hanger, they returned, so I removed it for the rest of the day.
