I’ve been losing money providing nyjer seed for my American Goldfinches. I’ve bought new feeders; I’ve bought fresh nyjer from different sources; I keep the feeders meticulously clean…nothing matters. As long as there are sunflower seeds available, the Goldfinches ignore the nyjer and only go for the sunflower seeds.
