This rather unusual goldfinch appeared at our feeder several times this morning. At first I thought he was just covered with the snow and ice of the day, but it is clearly some unusual plumage.

Species: Lesser Goldfinch
I had the same little one in Deerfield on Dec. 1, 2019. I believe it is a leucitic American Goldfinch. Sort of like an albino, but not!
