Description

We put up this nest box earlier in the afternoon. It took the local Bewick’s Wren less than an hour to find it. He investigated thoroughly and finally decided it suited his purposes, so he started bringing over nesting material.

To get the shot, I sat patiently and quietly in the backyard, about 15 feet from the box, with my telephoto lens, and took several quick shots as he approached. This was the best one.
