Description

I originally got bird feeders in large part as a form of enrichment for my middle-aged cat, especially now that I’m back in the office most days. He mostly just watches (and the birds mostly don’t see him, unless they’re on the sill peering under the edge of the mirrored film) – but occasionally he jumps at a house sparrow or mourning dove. (It’s like he knows which birds I’d rather not have visiting quite so much!)

Sharing my count site with him makes the whole thing extra pleasant. <3

Birdwatching Buddy

My tabby cat stretches, his paws on his scratching post, and watches the downy woodpecker at the suet feeder just above his head (on the other side of the window).
