I’ve been trying catch him with a drop trap so I can take to the vet. He’s not able to eat. Very sad.

Does anyone know what icpuod be wrong with this brown thrasher?
I’m a newcomer to this site and had never posted before yesterday. I was trying to post this picture under the category of sick and injured birds, but did not see that category in the drop down box. Could someone with experience cross post picture there? I was hoping to get help to see if this was a non-contagious tumor affecting this individual bird or possible avian pox.
I should clarify also when I said I was trying to catch the bird to get it to “the vet.” It is a vet that works with local wildlife rehabilitators.
