First Bullock’s Oriole of the season, seen yesterday on April 29th.

This photo was taken just as the Oriole stepped out of the bath. He went into the deep end of the birdbath, usually used by the larger birds, instead of the side of the birdbath with rocks in it to make it shallower. He splashed around for a bit an then climbed out. As a result, he became completely soaked, head to foot!
