Description

Cardinals set up a nest in a clamatis plant that we where just about ready to clean out for this years new growth but found that the cardinal was nesting. By our calculations she should be having her chicks any day now. I took some of her nesting and the male perching near her.

Hi Daniel,
Great find! If you haven’t already, consider checking out our sister project NestWatch (nestwatch.org). NestWatch is free to participate and participants can record data on nests and send it to us for use in our scientific research.
