Description

This is a followup of the pair of cardinals that set up a nest in our Clematis plant. Lost one but the other is doing well.

Cardinal Parents With Baby Update

Here's the cardinal baby a bit older. There were two. Now there is only one. The one left moved out of the nest to a spot above the nest. Had a hard time finding him at first. Don't know what happened to the other one.

I’ll try to do one more followup before the baby is on it’s own.

Hi Daniel, There are great shots! If you haven’t already, check out our sister project, NestWatch. You can submit your nest data for use in scientific research, similar to FeederWatch. For more information, visit nestwatch.org. Your username for FeederWatch will also work on the NestWatch website.
