I’ve only seen a Carolina Wren use this overhang for shelter twice – last December and last night, April 30. Serendipity.

What is it? Last Summer's badminton shuttlecock found this Spring? The Real Big Bang at the Original Nanosecond? One of my cat's indescribable furballs?... Perhaps the same Carolina Wren photographed last December above our side entrance, sheltering from the cold, and now May 1, 2014, after several days of rain.
