Interesting Common Redpoll behavior. Very cold day here (around 0 degrees with wind chills -10-20 degrees). Redpolls are systematically moving along spruce branches probing between the needles. Not sure if they are seeking arthropods, or seeds. Haven’t seen that before this season.
