Well, our bird feeders are ready for the counting season (started on 11/9) and so is this Cooper’s hawk. It only took a couple days for the song birds to find our feeders and it took a couple more days for this beautiful specimen to investigate his/her chances for a meal. The few dozen feeding birds we had left for several ours.
