Cooper’s Hawk captured and fed upon Red-Bellied Woodpecker at birdfeeder. Was on the ground for 7 hours feeding and resting, during which time all birds kept away, with the exception of a few chickadees which seemed to ignore the fact there was a hawk nearby.
