At first the adults will feed the fledglings at a feeder, but later they will start refusing to feed them when it’s “the food is here, feed yourself” time.

I had the first batch of baby birds at my feeder (mockingbirds, finches, doves, sparrows, starlings, cowbird, cardinals, etc) and now I’m starting to have the second batch.
