I was drawing outside, when I heard a call coming from the tree above. It took me awhile to spot it, but it was a Northern Flicker,looking for bugs. I remember that he looked at me, and then flew away, only to return a few days later. Soon, it cam multiple times a day. I loved it! 🙂
Woodpeckers & Sapsuckers
This is the Northern flicker I saw. I can see his red cheek patches stand out so much!
