Description

This male Downy Woodpecker is partial to the fence post suet feeder – nothing moves him off it in fact. Even when I’m out working in the area around this tree, he refuses to budge. He’s also not much interested in any of the other feeders, although his female counterpart seems to enjoy a little variety in her diet.
