Description

Watching my birds feast, a bang on a window and this hawk sweeps towards my feeder with what I think was a starling. ( I have tree starlings visiting lately) I guessed it is the Sharp Shinned hawk I have seen before but its’ wing span was big. I wondered if it is maybe a Northern Harrier hawk?
Often when my feeder is surrounded by birds there is a flash and every bird scatters. Once in a while a bird will freeze on the feeder and not move a muscle for five minutes. Wish they liked fat squirrels!
