Description

I was watching the Mourning Doves and the White-winged Dove for a few minutes, getting photos then left to track the birds on eBird. I returned to see a Cooper’s Hawk flying away with a dove! When filling up the feeders, I looked at the feathers and saw they were White-winged Dove feathers. Mrs. White-wing will be heartbroken. Mr. White-wing was an everyday visitor and we enjoyed watching him as he was very silly, climbing the feeders and eating suet.
