Seen swimming on local canal followed by mallards. Definitely was part of their group. Slightly larger but similar in shape to male mallard.

It could be a domestic Mallard. They come in all sorts of sizes and colors. Another possibility is a hybrid Mallard and Muscovy Duck.
Domestic Mallards. Not a hybrid. All three are domestic.
And the domestic duck is a female.
