We have this white bird at our backyard feeder and it comes around with another White-Breasted Nuthatch (with normal coloring).

I just saw one in Yarmouth! We were on Ledge near Oakwoods! Came online to find out what it was and found your reply — so cool that the first I read may have been the same bird…

I saw one on a wooden bridge in the woods in mid February 2024 at Horn Pond, Woburn MA.
Pure white. It hopped along the handrail directly towards me to check if I had any food. I didn’t. When it was right up to my gloved hand, I turned my hand over to show that I had no food, it looked in, saw no food, and hopped away. The most extraordinary experience of my birding life.
